Your fetus is forming teeth and vocal cords... savor this, their non-functional phase. Baby is approaching normal proportions, with a head now only one third the size of the body. Intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy.Sorry for the lack of exciting updates and pictures......been super busy! I started my preceptorship in post partum this week and will start my labor rotation in a few weeks. It's going really well! I remember more than I thought from when I had my first maternity rotation during the fall.
We also may have some big news come the end of the week, we are getting an early ultrasound at a specialty place to see if we can find out if we are having a boy or a girl! We will update as soon as we know :)
